Hi! I’m Dr. Brooke Silberhorn. I’m a chiropractor, psychosomatic healing facilitator, and the owner and founder of Thrive Chiropractic and Wellness in Ocala, FL. I’ve been practicing chiropractic care since 2006 and opened Thrive in 2015. Our office is located on 1st Avenue in downtown Ocala.
We are not in-network with any insurance companies, but if you have out-of-network benefits, we can provide a superbill for you to submit for reimbursement.
We also offer family discounts when multiple family members begin care together.
If you decide we’re the right fit for you, we’ll schedule a Discovery Exam. During this visit, we’ll perform three different scans to assess your nervous system, evaluate your posture, check your range of motion, and review everything I typically assess during an adjustment.
This visit also includes your first adjustment, which allows me to see how your body responds to care. By the end of the appointment, you’ll have all
the information you need to make an informed decision about your care plan moving forward.
Many people wonder if I’ll “pop” their back or if the adjustment will hurt. Whether or not you prefer traditional manual chiropractic adjustments, we typically don’t adjust in that way.
In my nearly 20 years of experience, I’ve found that when I work with the body—listening to what it tells me—I don’t need to use as much force. It’s kind of like using a key to unlock a door instead of trying to bust it open.
I use a method called NetworkSpinal, a gentle technique that helps the body self-heal and self-correct. Your experience on the table is unique to you. You may notice your body relax, your breath open up, energy shifting, or even a spontaneous pop—even when I’m not directly touching
that area.
Sometimes, you may not feel much during the session itself, but instead notice subtle shifts and changes later on.
